Michael Strawser is driving cross country collecting majolica for his Fall auction. This year's auction should be fabulous. With the Majolica Society Convention in town the consignments are likely to be terrific!
Here is the notice Michael sent out:
"We are currently accepting Majolica and Oyster plates for our Fall 2011 Majolica Auction which will be held on October 28 & 29 in Hatfield, Pennsylvania. The auction will be held in conjunction with the Majolica International Society' Annual Meeting. In late July and early August we will be traveling from Indiana to New England to Florida and back to Indiana picking up Majolica and Oyster plates for this auction. We also will be picking up antiques such as art pottery, lighting, toys, ceramics, art glass, coin collections, sterling, and other antiques for our Fall Americana Auction in Indiana.
We may also be planning a trip to the west coast as we have had a number of calls to pick up collections across the western states.
